NE10 Men's Track Athlete of the Week

Nigel Green, Southern Connecticut
Senior | Shirley, N.Y.

At the Yale Season Opener in the 60-meter dash, Nigel Green finished in third place with a personal-best time of 6.89. Green also anchored Southern's 4x400-meter relay team that finished in first place with a time of 3:14.00. His 60-meter dash time is the best among NE10 athletes so far this season and was the 7th fastest in all of Division II last week, and the 4x400-meter relay is the best in the NE10 by over seven seconds, best among Division II teams, and sixth best among all collegiate relay teams at any level this season.


NE10 Men's Field Athlete of the Week

Ja'Lil Reynolds, Saint Rose
Freshman | Hopewell Junction, N.Y.

Reynolds cleared the 2.04-meter bar to take first place in the high jump in Saturday's Utica Holiday Classic. The performance eclipsed the NCAA Championship provisional qualifying standard while also ranking as the 11th-best mark in the nation this season amongst Division II competitors.


NE10 Men's Track Rookie of the Week

Stephen Harris, Franklin Pierce
Sophomore | Billerica, Mass.

Won the 55-meter dash (6.52) and the high jump (1.95m) on Saturday at USM. The 55-meter dash time was good enough to convert to a school-record time in the 60-meter dash (7.01). Now ranks third in the NE10 in the high jump and tied for seventh in the 60-meter dash.


NE10 Men's Field Rookie of the Week

NE10 Men's Relay of the Week

4x400 Relay, Southern Connecticut

At the Yale Season Opener, the 4x400-meter relay team of Ramsley Exantus, Hunter Dale, Eli Henry and Nigel Green finished in first place with a time of 3:14.00. The time is the best in the NE10 by over seven seconds, second best among Division II teams, and among the top-20 best among all collegiate relay teams at any level this season.


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Connor Everidge, Franklin Pierce (Jr. - Baldwinville, Mass.)
Won the shot put (15.11m) and took second in the weight throw (15.33m) on Saturday at USM, and set a new program record in the latter. The marks rank second (weight throw) and third (shot put) in the NE10 on the season.

Zerion Montgomery, New Haven (Fr - Derby, Conn)
Montgomery finished the Yale Season Opener with top-four finishes in all three jump events, finishing fourth in the high jump (1.85 meters), second in the long jump (6.75 meters) and second in the triple jump (13.07 meters). All three of his finishes were the best among D2 participants

AJ Tejada, New Haven (Sr - Willimantic, Conn.)
Tejada set a school record in his only event of the weekend at the Yale Season Opener, finishing second overall in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.27 seconds.

Nate Llanos, Southern Connecticut State University (So. - Danbury, Conn.)
At the Yale Season Opener, Llanos finished tied for first place in the pole vault with a mark of 4.60. Llanos, along with his teammate, were the only Division II athletes competing in the event, as Llanos was matched up against Yale, Sacred Heart, and Hartford. His mark of 4.60 meters is the best in the NE10 so far this season.
