NE10 Records 181 All-Region Honors.
MANSFIELD, Mass. – The Northeast-10 Conference was the Division II leader in USTFCCCA All-Region selections for the 2022 outdoor track & field season, tallying 181 honors overall when the organization made the announcement in June.
The Southern Connecticut men's program led all of Division II with 37 All-Region selections, while its women's program had an NE10-best 19 selections. American International collected 33 honorees between its men's and women's teams, finishing second among NE10 institutions behind only SCSU (56).
The top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top-3 relay teams. The regions used for this award – Atlantic, Central, East, Midwest, South, South Central, Southeast and West – match those used during the cross country season.
Overall, eight NE10 outdoor track & field programs accounted for a double-digit total of All-Region honorees - AIC (men and women), Franklin Pierce (men), New Haven (men), Southern Connecticut (men and women), Southern New Hampshire (women) and Stonehill (women).
