NE10 Boasts 169 All-Region Selections
NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Northeast-10 among the nation's leaders in USTFCCCA All-Region selections, with 169 overall as announced by the organization on Tuesday.
The Southern Connecticut men led all of Division II with 38 All-Region selections, while the AIC men were third nationally with 30. The Owls had ten women's All-Region honors to rank second as an overall program with 48. Meanwhile, the Yellow Jackets were right behind them with 46 overall. The NE10 had 88 men's and 82 women's All-Region selections.
The top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top-3 relay teams. The regions used for this award – Atlantic, Central, East, Midwest, South, South Central, Southeast and West – match those used during the cross country season.
On the women's side, Southern New Hampshire led all schools with 17 All-Region selections, while AIC was second with 16 honorees. Each of the NE10's 11 women's track & field programs had at least one All-Region selection.
