NE10 Women's Track Athlete of the Week

Katherine Marsh, Adelphi
Junior | Mid-Distance | East Meadow, N.Y.

Katherine Marsh ran the conference's best time in the 800m for the 2022 outdoor season this weekend at the Rider Invite, finishing in a time of 2:14.10. A new-personal best time in the specialty, she took seventh overall at the event.


NE10 Women's Field Athlete of the Week

Nouhayla Errahili, Franklin Pierce
Freshman | Jumps | Fes, Morocco

Hit the NCAA Championships qualifying standard in the high jump, by clearing 1.73 meters to win the event on Saturday at MIT. The mark is tied for ninth in the country and leads the NE10.


NE10 Women's Track Rookie of the Week

Ella Maclean, Southern Connecticut
Freshman | Sprints | Hanover, N.H.

In the 100-meter dash, Maclean finished in fifth place, the only freshman in the event in the top five, with a time of 12.18, second best in the NE10 this season. She also finished in with a time of 25.44 in the 200-meter dash, fourth best in the NE10 this season and best by a freshman, and helped her 4x100-meter relay team to a third place finish with a time of 48.58.

NE10 Women's Relay of the Week

4x100 Relay, Southern Connecticut

The quartet of Mackenzie Glenn, Dardielle Exantus, Rachel Dube, and Ella Maclean finished in third place in the 4x100 with a time of 48.58 at the Mark Young Invitational.


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Monique Malcolm, American International (Fr. - Provincetown, Mass.)
Malcolm was strong in the sprints for AIC at the Jay Carisella Coaches Invitational at Northeastern. She finished second in the 100-meter dash and won the 200-meter dash.

Victoria Steffon, Assumption (Sr. - Holden, Mass.)
Victoria Steffon won the 100-meter dash by hitting the tape in 12.50 seconds at the George Davis Invitational. She also placed sixth in the 200 in 26.09 and anchored the 4x100-meter relay that navigated the track in 49.76.

Lucy Ambroult, Bentley (So. - Holbrook, Mass.)
For the third consecutive Saturday, Lucy Ambroult made a change to the Bentley University women's track and field record book. Competing in the George Davis Invitational at UMass-Lowell, Ambroult became the first woman in program history and the first in the Northeast-10 Conference this season to achieve 19 feet in the long jump. She finished second overall, trailing only New Hampshire's Olivia Chamberlain by three-and-a-quarter inches. Her performance broke the school record set by former Falcon standout Steph Mattson during the 2018 NE10 championships by a quarter-of-an-inch. It extended her own personal best by nine-and-a-half inches. She also set a new PR in the 400 meters (1:06.98) and finished 18th of 36 in the 200 (27.27)

Neva Bostic, New Haven (Jr. - Saint Johnsbury, Vt.)
Bostic took home medalist honors for the third straight meet as she led a field of 10 in the javelin throw with a toss of 38.35 meters (125'10") which came in her second attempt of the day. She currently leads all NE10 javelin throwers and is second in the East Region.

Jaelyn Howard, The College of Saint Rose (So. - Syracuse, N.Y.)
Howard crossed the line first in the women's 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:09.06 at the UAlbany Spring Classic on Saturday afternoon.

Ashley Corcoran, SNHU (Gr. - East Longmeadow, Mass.)
Ashley Corcoran ran the fastest 5000m race in the NCAA Div. II East Region on Saturday in the George Davis Invitational at UMass/Lowell. Her time of 17:32.79 was good for a fourth place finish in the race.

Casey Gannon, Stonehill College (Sr. - Warrick, R.I.)
In the 400-meter hurdles, Gannon crossed the finish line at a season-best, 1:04.84 for second place. It marked the third time during the outdoor season Gannon finished within the top three of the 400-meter hurdles. She also currently holds the third-fastest mark in the Northeast-10 Conference.

Krista Stracqualursi, Stonehill College (Sr., Thrower - Tewksbury, Mass.)
Stracqualursi competed in three field events on the day and set a career-high in the hammer throw with a toss of 38.81 meters (21st). In the shot put, Stracqualursi notched an 11th place finish at 11.22 meters, and to wrap up her day, she collected an eighth-place finish in discus (37.50 meters). Her strong performance in discus is the third-highest toss in the NE10 so far during the outdoor season.
