NE10 Women's Track Athlete of the Week

Ashley Corcoran, Southern N.H.
Graduate Student | Distance | East Longmeadow, Mass.

Ashley Corcoran won the 1500m race at the University of New Hampshire Invitational on Saturday in Durham. Her time of 4:39.44 is tops in the NCAA Div. II East Region, and set a new program record for SNHU.


NE10 Women's Field Athlete of the Week

Neva Bostic, New Haven
Junior | Throws | Saint Johnsbury, Vt.

Bostic posted another top finish and personal best in the Javelin throw at the Wilton Wright Invitational, hitting a mark of 39.51 meters, which currently is the best in the NE10 and second best in the east region.


NE10 Women's Track Rookie of the Week

Mercyline Kimaiyo, American International
Freshman | Distance | Eldoret, Kenya

Kimaiyo proved her dominance of distance at the Springfield College Classic, finishing the 5000-meter run in an NE10-best time of 17:42.38, nearly 25 seconds faster than the next-closest time in the conference this season.


NE10 Women's Field Rookie of the Week

Madison McMahon, Southern New Hampshire
Junior | Jumps | East Longmeadow, Mass.

Madison McMahon just missed setting a new personal record, winning the high jump in 1.62m at the UNH Invitational on Saturday in Durham. McMahon?s jump was third best so far this season in NCAA Div. II East Region. Her personal mark of 1.63m came at the Northeast-10 Indoor Track & Field Championships back in February.


NE10 Women's Relay of the Week

4x100 Relay, American International

The AIC 4x100 relay quartet of Roxan Foster, Monique Malcolm, Adia Cavalier and Haja Donzo raised the bar again, completing the Springfield College Classic in an NE10-best time of 47.39, breaking the College record they had set just a week prior.


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Gabrielle Griffin, Adelphi (Sr. - Port Jefferson Station, N.Y.)
Gabrielle Griffin raced to a first place finish at the Wilton Wright Invitational on Saturday, besting the field in a time of 1:04.97 in the 400 hurdles event. That time currently stands as the second fastest in the NE10 and the quickest from this weekend's action.

Haja Donzo, American International (Gr. - West Haven, Conn.)
Donzo's time of 12.30 seconds in the 100-meter dash won the Springfield College Classic. It was the best time in the NE10 for the event on the week and second-best on the season.

Chase Davies, Bentley (Sr. - Marblehead, Mass.)
In the UC San Diego Triton Invitational, Davies broke her own school record in the 100 meter hurdles by 0.26 seconds with her 15.00 second mark third best in the Northeast-10 this season. She finished 12th in a field of 33 with nine of the 11 in front of her representing Division I institutions or club teams. Davies also ran the 200 in 27.77 seconds, cleared 14'8.5" in the long jump and was part of a Bentley 4x400 relay team that finished in 4:31.81.

Stephanie Green, Saint Rose (So. - Kingston, N.Y.)
Green claimed second place in the women's hammer throw on Saturday at the Springfield College Classic, with her best-distance of 49.25 meters eclipsing the longest mark set in the NE10 this spring.

Elaina DiSalvo, Southern Connecticut (Gr. - Lake Grove, N.Y.)
DiSalvo recorded the best mark in the pole vault in the NE10 during the outdoor season at 3.35 meters at the Wilton Wright Invitational. DiSalvo finished in third place, barely being edged by two Division I athletes from Sacred Heart and UConn.

Rachel Dube, Southern Connecticut (So. - Windsor, Conn.)
Dube finished in fourth place in the 200-meter dash with at a time of 25.99, third place in the 400-meter dash with a time of 59.39, and helped her 4x100-meter relay team to a first place finish with a time of 48.95 at the Wilton Wright Invitational. Her 200-meter time was the sixth fastest in the NE10 this season, while her 400-meter time was the fourth fastest.

Bennie Alula, Southern New Hampshire (Sr. - Hartford, Conn.)
Bennie Alula set a new personal best with a 43.77m toss in the hammer throw at the UNH Invitational on Saturday in Durham. She finished third in the event, and it was the fifth best throw in the NCAA Div. II East Region this season. She added a strong 37.375m in the shot put at UNH.

Jillian Howard, Stonehill (Gr. - Distance - Weston, Mass.)
Howard was the lone participant for the Skyhawks in the 3,000 steeplechase and took home first place with a time of 11:13.54. Currently, her time is the third fastest for this event in the Northeast-10 Conference.

Krista Stracqualursi, Stonehill (Sr. - Tewksbury, Mass.)
Stracqualursi grabbed her first shotput win of the outdoor season with a throw of 11.81 meters Saturday at the Merrimack Track Carnival.
