NE10 Women's Track Athlete of the Week

Roxan Foster, American International
Sophomore | Hurdles | St. Elizabeth, Jamaica

Foster turned in a spectacular showing at the Penn Relays. She dropped her time in the 100-meter hurdles to 13.83, second-fastest in the East Region, and ninth best in the nation. She then ran the anchor leg of the 4x100 relay that turned in a time of 46.43, tops in the region.


NE10 Women's Field Athlete of the Week

Paola Brena, Franklin Pierce
Senior | Jumps | Queretaro, Mexico

Hit the NCAA Championships qualifying standard in the high jump on Saturday at CCSU, where she cleared 1.70 meters to win the event. The mark is second in the NE10 and tied for 21st in the country. Also cleared 1.61 meters on Friday at Penn Relays, to tie for 17th.


NE10 Women's Track Rookie of the Week

Ella Maclean, Southern Connecticut
Freshman | Sprints | Hanover, N.H.

Maclean finished in second place in the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.25 at the Jim Barber & Jack Maloney Tri-Meet, the third fastest time in the NE10 this season and best by a freshman. She also helped Southern's 4x100-meter relay team to a first place finish with a time of 47.86, the fastest 4x100-meter relay time for Southern since 2019.


NE10 Women's Field Rookie of the Week

Morgan Sartor, Southern Connecticut
Freshman | Throws | Portland, Conn.

Sartor finished in fifth place in the hammer throw with a mark of 43.98 meters and in 10th place in the discus with a throw of 27.37 meters at the Jim Barber & Jack Maloney Tri-Meet, both personal-bests. Her hammer throw mark is the third best in the NE10 this season and best by a freshman.


NE10 Women's Relay of the Week

4x100 Relay, American International

The AIC quartet of Haja Donzo, Monique Malcolm, Adia Cavalier and Roxan Roster were at it again at the Penn Relays, dropping the AIC record for the event down to 46.43 seconds. It is the East Region's only sub-47 second time and ranked 22nd nationally.


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Chase Davies, Bentley (Sr. - Marblehead, Mass.)
Davies broke the school record in the 100 meter hurdles for the third time this spring with her 14.64 second time in the Stonehill Invitational bettering the previous standard by 0.17. She finished second, behind a runner from URI, and her time was the fourth best in the conference this season. The reigning NE10 heptathlon champion also threw the javelin 77'10".

Lauren Reed, Saint Rose (So. - Johnsonville, N.Y.)
In the RPI Capital District Classic on Saturday, Reed took first place in both the long jump and triple jump with respective marks of 5.53 and 11.15 meters.

Mackenzie Glenn, Southern Connecticut (So. - North Branford)
Glenn finished in first place in the long jump at the Jim Barber & Jack Maloney Tri-Meet with a leap of 5.59 meters, the third best leap in the NE10 this season.

Begotty Laroche, Southern Connecticut (Sr. - Manchester, Conn.)
Laroche finished in first place in the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.10, the second best time in the NE10 this season. She also helped Southern's 4x100-meter relay team to a first place finish with a time of 47.86, the fastest 4x100-meter relay time for Southern since 2019.

4x100 Relay, Southern Connecticut
The 4x100-meter relay team of Laroche, Francois, Exantus, and Maclean finished in first place at the Jim Barber & Jack Maloney Tri-Meet with a time of 47.86, the fastest 4x100-meter relay time for Southern since May 11, 2019 and the second fastest in the NE10 this season.

Kaytlin Encarnacao, Stonehill (So. - Reading, Mass.)
Encarnacao grabbed her fourth first-place finish in the 400-meter dash of the season when she crossed the finish line at 58.20 seconds. Every time she has competed in this event during the outdoor season, Encarnacao has posted a first place finish. Her time in the 400-meter is the fifth-fastest in the Northeast-10 Conference. Encarnacao also ran in the 200-meter dash for third place when she set a personal-best time of 25.97.

Krista Stracqualursi, Stonehill (Sr. - Tewksbury, Mass.)
Stracqualursi competed in three field events and posted top-10 finishes in two of three. In shoutput, Stracqualursi finished third with a toss of 12.23 meters, and then in discus, she ended up in sixth (35.07 meters). Stracqualursi wrapped up her day in the hammer throw when she finished 14th (37.00 meters).
