NE10 Women's Track Athlete of the Week

Roxan Foster, American International
Sophomore | St. Elizabeth, Jamaica

Foster flew in the 60-meter hurdles at the John Thomas Terrier Invitational on Friday. Her time of 8.71 seconds was not only the second-best in the NE10 for the season, it was a national qualifier which ranks 14th in the nation this season.


NE10 Women's Field Athlete of the Week

Adia Cavalier, American International
Graduate Student | Bloomfield, Conn.

Cavalier rose up the rankings in the NE10 in the triple jump with her performance at the John Thomas Terrier Invitational, where she moved into second in the conference by leaping 11.51 meters. She now has two top-four marks in jumps in the NE10 for the season.


NE10 Women's Track Rookie of the Week

Mercyline Kimaiyo, American International
Freshman | Kapsabet, Kenya 

Kimaiyo pushed the envelope at the John Thomas Terrier Classic in the 3000-meter run, blowing past the best of the NE10 in her usual rapid fashion. Her time of 17:42.51 was nearly 30 seconds faster than anyone else in the conference has run, and is the only sub-18:00 mark in the league to date.


NE10 Women's Field Rookie of the Week

Madison Kozyra, Le Moyne
R-Freshman | Marcy, N.Y.

She recorded a pair of top-seven finishes on Saturday at Utica's Blue & Orange Invitational. She placed fourth in the shot put with a toss of 37-feet, 10.75-inches. She finished seventh in the weight throw with a distance of 43-feet, 8.5-inches.


NE10 Women's Relay of the Week

4x400 Relay, Southern Connecticut

The 4x400-meter relay team of Rachel Dube, Izzy Newbury, Dardielle Exantus, and Ella Maclean finished in seventh place out of 21 competing teams with a time of 3:57.66 at the John Thomas Terrier Classic, the fastest time for a Southern 4x400-meter relay team since Feb. 20, 2020 and fastest in the NE10 this season.


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Gabrielle Buissereth, Adelphi (Sr. - Elmont, N.Y.)
Gabrielle Buissereth was the top finisher out of the NE10 in the 400m event this weekend, posting a time of 57.70, to place 12th overall at the 2022 Boston University John Thomas Terrier Classic. She also placed 34th overall in the 200m race, in 25.85, less than a second off her personal best in the specialty.

Peri Snow, Assumption (Jr. - East Bridgewater, Mass.)
Snow broke Assumption's school's record in the 800 with her time of 2:17.13. Her time is also now the top mark in the NE10 in the event.

Chase Davies, Bentley (Sr. - Marblehead, Mass.)
During the John Thomas Terrier Classic at Boston University, Davies broke her own school record in the 60 meter hurdles, with her time of 9.19 seconds bettering the mark she set two years ago at Maine by two-hundredths of a second. That elevated her to fifth on the Northeast-10 performance list and was good for eighth place in the event. She also ran the 200 in 28.33, improving on her PR by 0.61 seconds.

Nyjah Young-Bey, Franklin Pierce (Jr. - Montclair, N.J.)
Chalked up a win in the 200-meter dash on Sunday at Tufts, with a time of 26.07 seconds, and also took second in the 60-meter dash, with a run of 7.93 seconds. Is second in the NE10 in the 200 and fourth in the 60, both based on times from earlier in the year.

Lauren Reed, Saint Rose (So. - Johnsonville, N.Y.)
At Utica's Blue and Orange Invitational on Saturday, Reed took third place in both the long jump and triple jump with respective measurements of 5.21m and 10.67m.

Ella Maclean, Southern Connecticut (Fr. - Hanover, N.H.)
In the 200-meter dash, Maclean finished in 27th place out of 136 competing athletes with a time of 25.65, the best 200-meter dash time by Southern athlete this season and third fastest in the NE10 this season.

Bennie Alula, SNHU (Sr. - Hartford, Conn.)
Bennie Alula topped the field in the weight throw at the Husky Invitational at Southern Maine Sunday (14.84m). She also finished third in the shot put at the meet with 11.34m.

Meghan Stroh, SNHU (Sr. - New Fairfield, Conn.)
Meghan Stroh raced to wins in the 200m and 600m events at the Husky Invitational at Southern Maine Sunday. Stroh's win over a field of 22 in the 200m was 26.68. She added a PR in the 600m with 1:42.01.
