Owls Picked to Win Fifth Straigth NE10 Title
MANSFIELD, Mass. – Southern Connecticut was picked to claim its fifth consecutive NE10 Outdoor Men's Track & Field Title, taking first in Northeast-10 Outdoor Track & Field Coaches Poll, released on Wednesday afternoon.
The Owls earned 75 total points and seven first place votes while American International was second with 69 points and one first place vote. Franklin Pierce earned a pair of first place votes and was selected third overall with 64 points.
New Haven was just two behind the Ravens in fourth with 62 points, while Stonehill had 47 and Adelphi rounded out the top six with 43.
The 2022 NE10 Outdoor Track & Field Championship will take place May 6-7 on the campus of Stonehill College. The Championship page with live results, live video and heat sheets can be found HERE.
